Animal Welfare Commission Members Present: Dr. Mariah Covey, Karen Haun, and Barb Leavell
Christina Shakour-Attorney for Animal Control Board
City Staff Present:Lindsay Cueller -SBARC Shelter Manager, Tom Panowicz-
Attorney for SBARC, and Kylie Connell
1.The meeting was called to order by Dr. Mariah Covey at 1820 hours.
2.Lindsay Cueller from SBARC discussed In Takes for the month of October 2021.
A.Rescues are full so trying to find other avenues to get dogs adopted.
3.The new ordinance needs to get passed on to the City Council.
4.Case No 2021-02 has not been in compliance. A vote was taken not to have another hearing but for
SBARC to move forward.
5.The next set of hearings and meetings were also scheduled.
A.November 18, 2021 at 1800 hours and December 16, 2021 at 1830 hours for the next hearings.
B.November 4, 2021 at 1800 hours and December 16, 2021 at 1800 hours.
