Animal Welfare Commission Members Present: Dr. Mariah Covey, Karen Haun, Rebecca Strand, and Barb
Leavell

City Staff Present:Lindsay Cueller -SBARC Shelter Manager, Tom Panowicz-
Attorney for SBARC, and Ashley Snidecki
1.The meeting was called to order by Dr. Mariah Covey at 1758 hours.
2.Lindsay Cueller from SBARC discussed concerns and issues for November and December.
A.Working with Southwest Michigan Humane Society to help with space.
B.SBARC is still full.
C.December 19 is pictures with Santa along with an adoption day.
3.Update on cases.
A.Case No. 2021-04 are not in compliance.
1.Motion was made to notify Respondents that the case will be discussed. Motion carried.
4.Next meeting on January 6, 2022.
