Attorney for SBARC, and Marlaina Johns for Code
Enforcement
1.The meeting was called to order by Dr. Mariah Covey at 1804 hours.
2.South Bend Animal Resource Center has a new Shelter Manager, Lindsay Cueller, who is replacing Jen
Gobel.
A.Shelter Manager is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
B.Studied and worked in Missouri for two years on a hog farm.
C.Is a member of the Pork Board and a public speaker for them.
D.The Animal Welfare Commission introduced themselves to the new Shelter Manager.
3.There were two hearing that were discussed for future dates for either the end of February or at the
March meeting.
A.There is currently a hearing scheduled for March 4, 2021 along with a Commission meeting the
same night. Starting at 1800 hours.
4.The meeting for the Commission will be March 4, 2021 at 1800 hours.
