The September 27, 1999 meeting of the Utilities Committee was called to order by its
Chairperson Council Member Rod Sniadecki at 4:40 p.m. in the Council informal meeting
room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members: Aranowski, Kelly, King, Coleman,
Varner, Pfeifer, Ujdak, and Sniadecki; Public Works and Property Vacation Citizen
Member Khadijah Muhammad, Terry Bland,Jack Dillon,and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Sniadecki noted that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill No.
76-99 which would correct an account number in the Solid Waste Operations Fund.
Mr.Dillon of Environmental Services made the presentation. He noted that the Bill would
correct the reference to the account number and is basically a housekeeping measure. It
would also rescind Ord. No. 8996-99 which referenced the incorrect account number.
Following discussion, Council Member Aranowski made a motion, seconded by Council
Member Aranowski that Bill No. 76-99 be recommended favorably to Council. The
motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee,the meeting was adjourned
at 4:45 p.m.
