HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-12-99 Personnel & Finance tossittu Attpott: Personnel and Finance Committee i0 tfjt tOmmOn toutitti of OS efts of Mouth limb.: The April 12, 1999 meeting of the Personnel and Finance was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member James Aranowski at 3:40 p.m. in the Council informal meeting room. Persons in attendance included Council Members: Aranowski, Ujdak, Kelly, and Sniadecki;Nancy Van Scoyk,and Terry Bland. Council Member Aranowski noted that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 24-99 which would amend the salary ordinance for non-bargaining employees of the City of South Bend for Calendar Year 1999. The Bill addressed seven (7)positions as addressed in the letter from Cathy Hubbard-Shead dated March 15, 1999 (attached). Following the presentation on the Bill,Bill No.24-99 was recommended favorable to full Council. The Committee then reviewed Bill No.25-99 which would amend Chapter 19,Article 3 of the South Bend Municipal Code regulating meetings, exhibitions and other public events in the interest of safety. The Bill was proposed by Chief Gunn as addressed in his letter of March 15, 1999 (attached). Following the presentation on the Bill,Bill No.25-99 was recommended favorable to full Council. Under miscellaneous business,the Committee informally discussed Bill No. 99-26 which is the confirming Resolution for the property located at 6851 Enterprise Drive for Enterprise Centre Partners, PE.
