Committee Member Henry Davis Jr. replied that the bill should be tabled indefinitely.
Committee Member Davis stated that he is the sole sponsor of the bill, and no one contacted him.
Committee Chair Karen White called to order the Residential Neighborhood Committee
meeting at 4:52 p.m.; White stated a quorum is present.
Committee Chair White requested clarification as to if the sponsor would like the bill withdrawn
permanently.
Committee Member Davis stated the bill’s sponsor wanted to table it indefinitely and asked why
the sponsor wasn’t contacted if it is going to be back on the agenda. Davis asked if the sponsors
were contacted about whether the bill should be on the agenda or not.
Attorney Bob Palmer stated the bill was tabled indefinitely two meetings ago and that this is the
first meeting that it could have been brought up. It is on the agenda in case anyone wanted to make
a motion to un-table it.
Attorney Palmer stated his understanding was that the sponsors were contacted and that it was on
the agenda if someone was to motion for the bill to be un-tabled.

Committee Chair White stated no action is needed via Attorney Palmer’s clarification.
With no further business, Committee Chair White adjourned the meeting at 4:57 p.m.

Clerk Dawn Jones stated after the agenda review meeting, the agenda goes to the full Council to
determine if anything needs to be on the agenda or not. After that, the agenda goes to the full
Council again for review.
