Hamann Other Council Absent: None Others Present: Dawn Jones, Bianca Tirado, Victoria Trujillo, Bob Palmer Presenters: Eric Horvath Agenda:Uydate—Street Light LED Conversations, Eric Horvath Committee Chair Karen L. White called to order the Residential Neighborhoods Committee meeting at 4:35 p.m. Full audio dialogue of the meeting is available upon request from the City Clerk's Office. Chair Karen L. White stated that there would not be time for questions given the time allotted, and as a result, there will be a separate Committee meeting on March 8, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Eric Horvath, Public Works Director, with offices on the thirteenth (131h) floor of the County- City Building, discussed the South Bend/I&M LED Conversation Project. All nine thousand 9,000) lights are expected to be converted by Fall 2022. A neighborhood streetlight survey is available at southbendin.gov/LED. Councilmember Sharon L. McBride asked if priority would be based on safety and accidents at intersections. Eric Horvath responded that the Mayor asked the Department to consider gaps, like those identified through Light Up South Bend. After the major replacement, these will be addressed.
