Residential Neighborhoods Committee July 11, 2022, 4:00 P.M.

Agenda: Bill No. 22-32: Resolution to Enter Negotiations for the Use
of Underutilized School Buildings.
Committee Chair Karen White called to order the Residential Neighborhood Committee
meeting at 4:00 p.m.; White stated a quorum is present.
Full audio dialogue of the meeting is available upon request from the City Clerkâs Office.
Committee Chair White stated the sponsor is not present for the committee meeting as well as the
council meeting.
Attorney Bob Palmer stated the bill historically goes to the committee of the whole or the full
council without a recommendation.
Committee Member Sheila Niezgodski made a motion to table the resolution indefinitely.
Committee Member Canneth Lee seconded the motion which was carried by a vote of two (2) ayes
and one (1) nay (Committee Chair White).
Committee Member Niezgodski stated the motion gives the sponsor time to get the resolution
ready.
Attorney Palmer stated if it is tabled indefinitely that it cannot be brought up at the very next
meeting.
Committee Chair White stated the bill will be tabled indefinitely.
Committee Member Lee questioned the process and clarified that in two meetings the resolution
can be brought forth.
