Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski called to order the Public Works & Property Vacation
Committee meeting at 4:51 mm.
Full audio dialogue of the meeting is available upon request from the City Clerk's Office.
Chair Sheila Niezgodski stated that the Committee oversees the various activities performed by
the Building Department, Department of Public Works, and related issues. Two (2) date's will be
corrected on the 2021 Annual Report, which was circulated to Council.
Councilmember Henry Davis Jr. asked why only three (3) Council members sit on this Committee.
Chair Sheila Niezgodski responded that the requirement is for three (3) members, and there are
two (2) citizen members, for a total of five (5).
Council President Sharon L. McBride stated that the average is four (4), but the minimum is three
2), and committeemembers were selected based on interest.
Chair Sheila Niezgodski stated that the Committee would be working with the Residential
Neighborhoods Committee to address alleyways.
