CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS i. 2022-0902B 902 Riverside Drive Riverside Drive LHD, Ordinance #7469-85 (Audio Position: N/A as audio recording is out until minute 21:57) The staff report was presented by: Adam Toering Staff Recommendation: Staff makes no recommendation The applicant was represented by: there was no one present to serve as applicant The public was represented by: there was no one from the public to speak After due consideration the following action was taken: Upon a motion by Joan Downs Krostenko, seconded by Andrew Jones, and carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES Certificate of Appropriateness Application #2022-0902B Vote: 3-0-2. Three in favor, none opposed, two abstained COA#2022-0902B is APPROVED. The proposed glass doors are of a different size and texture (and configuration) than the existing doors. The applicant was represented by: Eric Boyd, 1240 W Thomas St, South Bend, IN 46601 served as the applicant. Jefferson Blvd. South Bend, Indiana 46601 p 574.235.9371 f 574.235.9201 southbendin.gov CITY OF SOUTH BEND I HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION Upon a motion by Joan Downs Krostenko, seconded by David Wyncott, and unanimously carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission AMENDS Certificate of Appropriateness Application #2022-0906B-3 to include the temporary installation of an overhead door to make the space useable for the winter and during renovations. Vote: 5-0. Five in favor, none opposed. COA#2022-090613 is AMENDED. Upon a motion by David Wyncott, seconded by Joan Downs Krostenko, and unanimously carried by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES Certificate of Appropriateness Application #2022-0906B as amended. Vote: 5-0. Five in favor, none opposed. COA#2022-0906B-3 is APPROVED as amended. IV. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR V. REGULAR BUSINESS a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES i. September 19, 2022 minutes Upon a motion by Joan Downs Krostenko, seconded by David Wyncott, with Andrew Jones abstaining, and carried by vote, the minutes from the September 19, 2022 Historic Preservation Commission are approved. b.
