HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-27-97 Zoning & Annexationd - atommftttt AtPort: Zoning and Annexation Committee �0 the Common Qtoutttfl of the Qtftt of south WO: The May 27, 1997 meeting of the Zoning and Annexation Committee was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member David Varner at 4:30 p.m. in the Council informal meeting room. Persons in attendance included Council Members: Coleman, Ujdak, Aranowski, Varner, Broden, Pfeifer, Kelly, Sniadecki, and Hosinski; Don Fozo, Eledean DeRose, David DuVoll,Larry Magliozzi and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. The first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 38-97 which is a request to annex roe in Centere in Penn Townships for EMRO/NDCU. Larry Magliozzi made the property presentation. He noted t h at t his is a city ty uuti initiated annexation.ation. In proposed Bill 97-32 addressing the written fiscal plan he noted that the area in question is approximately 9.5 acres. The area would become a part of Councilmanic District Five. Following discussion, Council Member Pfeifer made a motion seconded by Council Member Broden that Bill No. 38-97 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. Council Member Hosinski noted that he received several petitions regarding the upcoming re-zoning of St.Micheal and All Angels church. Mr. Fozo noted that he would not be in attendance at this evenings regular Common Council meeting. There being no further business to come before the Committee,the meeting was adjourned at 4:40 p.m..
