The event will start at 5:00 p.m. at 1440 Ignition Drive. The South Bend fellows are Tamara Manik-Perlman, Dave Guarino, and Reed Ducey Gibbs. Their sketch biographies can be found on the Code for America website. "We're excited to welcome Tamara, Dave, and Reed to South Bend so they can get to world" said Mayor Buttigieg. "Good government starts with being a smarter and more creative city. The fellows will be able to add to the work we've already done on new technology upgrades,the development of a 311 phone line, and the internal measurements that monitor City operations." Media organizations and individuals interested in attending the welcoming event should bring a government-issued photo I.D. to Data Realty. If possible, people should R.S.V.P. to the event through the Mayor's Office by emailing Matt Sikora(msikora=,southbendin.Qov) or by calling 574-235-9261. The partnership was made possible with the support and collaboration of the City of South Bend, the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, AT&T, Memorial Hospital, Teacher's Credit Union Foundation, and 1" Source Bank. Founded in 2009, Code for America held its inaugural fellowship in 2011. In 2012, Code for America has connected 26 fellows with eight cities across the country. "With the support of such forward- thinking and dedicated city staff, we look forward to continuing to build long-lasting partnerships with the City." The other communities in the United States participating in the Code for America Fellowship Program this year include Kansas City,Las Vegas,Louisville, Oakland, San Francisco, San Mateo County, Calif., Summit County, Ohio (Akron), and New York City.
