SUBJECT: STATEMENT ON DORIS DOUGLAS, A MISSING 14-YEAR-OLD DATE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2022 CONTACT: COUNCILMEMBER HENRY DAVIS, JR., councilmandavis@gmail.com, 574-300-5241 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE _____________________________________________________________________________________ Councilmember Henry Davis will hold a press conference regarding the disappearance of Doris Douglas, a missing John Adams student Doris Douglas, a 14-year-old from South Bend, Indiana who attends John Adams High School has been missing for two weeks. Authorities have been alerted of her absence and her mother is without any answers of her status. We are asking that all local media attend this presser so there is more attention to this case. Doris has been declared as a runaway per the South Bend Police Department however there is not any more information on her whereabouts. Rose Douglas, Doris’ mother, will be in attendance making a plea asking the community to help bring her daughter home.
