SUBSTITUTE BILL NO. 65-22
ORDINANCE NO. 10900-22
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA,AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1036 AND 1044 LINCOLN WAY EAST, COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO. 3 IN THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
Petitioners desire to rezone the property from I Industrial District to U3 Urban Neighborhood 3
to allow for future development of the site.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 10689-19, which ordinance is commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby amended in order
that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St.
Joseph County, State of Indiana:
A parcel of land located in Section 13, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, Portage
Township, City of South Bend, St.Joseph County, Indiana and more particularly described
as follows:
All of Lots F and G and that portion of Lots E and X lying South and East of Bowman
Creek as well as the vacated alley lying West of Lots F and G. All of the above described
property being a part of Wenger and Krieghbaugh's
Vistula Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana,recorded November 17, 1908,
in Book 9, Page 100. LEGAL DESCRIPTION
be and the same is hereby established as U3 Urban Neighborhood 3
SECTION II. This ordinance is and shall be subject to commitments as provided by
Chapter 21-12.07(0(7) Commitments, if applicable.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor, and legal publication, and full execution of
any conditions or Commitments placed upon the approval.
