At its November 22, 22-022 meeting, the Board of Public Works approved the above
referenced Change Order be increased by $29,700 (On-Call $145 Per Truck, Per Hour, Unit
Price), bringing the revised contract amount to $134,700 and the contract expires 12/31/2022.

DATE: November 10, 2022
On March 22, 2022 the Department of Public Works awarded an Open Market Quote to
Trucks R Us for the 2022 Biosolids Trucking for Land Application Annual Contract.
The subject memorandum is provided to notify the Board of Public Works about an increase
in the amount of trucking hours required for land application.
Original Contract Amount (Initial): $105,000.00
Additional Trucking (Increase): $ 29,700.00
New Contract Amount: $134,700.00
The Division of Utilities kindly requests that the Board of Public Works approve the subject
change order and ratify the additional services in concert with the City’s efforts for land
application. This work was performed under the current Open Market Contract which is an “on
call” services at rate of $145.00 “per truck, per hour”.
The Public Works and the Division of Utilities are working to have funds appropriated to the
Organic Resources, Contractual Services Other Account (641-06-605-515-439001). For
questions regarding the above recommendation or the subject project, contact Kim Thompson
at the Division of Utilities (Ext. 5969) or Jacob M. Klosinski (Ext. 9496) at the Division of
Engineering.
