Community and Economic Development Committee

The July 9, 1996 meeting of the Community and Economic Development Committee was
called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Sean Coleman at 5:05 P.M. in the
Council informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members: Kelly, Zakrzewski, Washington,
Varner, Luecke, Coleman, Pfeifer, Broden; John Byomi, Ann Kolata, Bruce Bancroft,
Don Porter,and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
The only item on the agenda to be reviewed by the Committee was Bill No. 47-96 which
would appropriate$65,000.00 from the Economic Development State Grant Fund(Fund
201).
Ij Ann Kolata made the presentation.She noted that the monies are Department of Commerce
li Dollars.
Following discussion, Council Member Luecke made a motion, seconded by Council
Member Zakrzewski that Bill No. 47-96 be recommended favorably to Council. The
motion passed.
There being no further items to come before the Committee the meeting was adjourned at
5: 08 P.M.
