The January 23, 1995 meeting of the Community and Economic Development
Committee was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Roland Kelly at 5:00
P.M.in the Council informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members: Puzzello, Kelly, Slavinskas,
Zakrzewski, Washington, Coleman, Luecke, Duda, and Ladewski; James Riggs, Don
Porter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Kelly noted that the purpose of the meeting was to review Bill No.
115-94 which would appropriate $170,000.00 from the Economic Development State
Grant Fund.
Mr. James Riggs made the presentation.He noted that the purpose of the Ordinance
is to make certain appropriations from funds available within the Economic Development
State Grant Fund to refund the build Indiana Grant Fund for expenses related to the
William Richardson Court. He noted that the court is in the Blackthorn area. He noted that
this is a fifty-fifty match utilizing'1'11'Funds of the Airport Industrial Park.

Following discussion, Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Puzzello that Bill No. 115-94 be recommended favorably to Council. The
motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee the meeting was
adjourned at 5:05 P.M.
