HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-18-95 Zoning & Annexation C � tommftttt * oat: Zoning and Annexation Committee to tbjt COSMO % tOUtttfx of t jt QC f tg of f0utb Stab: The December 18, 1995 meeting of the Zoning and Annexation Committee was called to order by its Chairperson Council Member Lee Slavinskas at 3:35 P.M. in the Council informal meeting room. Persons in attendance included Council Members: Slavinskas, Coleman, Luecke, Kelly, Duda, and Ladewski; John Byorni, John Oxian, Jim Korporal, Joe Sergeo, Don Porter, Citizen Member Doug Carpenter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. Council Member Slavinskas noted that the only item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 65-95 which is a request to establish a historical landmark for a light-post located at Napoleon and Stanfield in the City of South Bend. Mr. John Byorni noted that it had been reviewed by the staff of the Area Plan Commission and that they found no major problems. Mr.John Oxian made the presentation.He noted that the lamp-post is located in the middle of the block. Council Member Steve Luecke spoke in favor of the Bill and noted that the designation is for the specific lamp-post. Following discussion, Council Member Luecke made a motion, seconded by Council Member Coleman that substitute Bill No. 65-95 be recommended favorably to Council.The motion passed. There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 3:40 P.M.
