2022 574 STOP THE VIOLENCE CELEBRITY BASKETBALL GAME
574 Stop the Violence Celebrity Basketball Game is a fun family event that elevates a very serious
message and mission. The Celebrity Basketball Game begins Saturday 321 E. Walter St. in South
Bend at the O’Brien Center. Saturday’s event begins at 3 p.m.
Majorvisions Promotions, Black Lives Matter, South Bend, and Legendary Era are among the
businesses and influencers who have sponsored the game.
Team Stop the Violence competes against Team Put the Guns Down in the game. This fun-filled
event will also allow the city’s children to have some pre-Halloween fun, and children are
encouraged to dress up in costumes. There will be a candy giveaway.
While there will be plenty of fun and high-flying roundball acrobatics, the event will also raise
awareness of a worthy and important cause: rallying the community to combat the gun violence
epidemic that has caused far too much pain, grief, and death in our city.
