Persons in attendance included Council Members: Luecke, Washington, Kelly, Puzzello, Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, Coleman, Duda, Ladewski; Ann Kolata, Don Porter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. Council Member Kelly noted that the purpose of the meeting was to review Resolution No. 94-4 addressing the redevelopment plan for Sample-Ewing. Ann Kolata made the presentation. She noted that the Common Council took action on this last Spring. However due to a legal publication error in the Tri-County News, the Redevelopment Commission determined to initiate again the process of declaring the Sample-Ewing Development Area. The only material difference between the development plan for the area is that the list of properties in the area was separate originally, and now they are made a part of the new development plan. She also noted that the Area Plan Commission took formal action through Resolution No. 118 on December 21, 1993 . It is also noted that if this Resolution is adopted that the Commission's public hearing would take place on February 4 , 1994 . Following further discussion, Council Member Slavinskas made a motion, seconded by Council Member Luecke, that Resolution No. 94-4 be recommended favorably to Council . The motion passed. There being no further business to come before the Committee, the .meeting was adjourned at 4 :45 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Roland Kelly, Chairperson Human Resources and Economic Development Committee attachments
