Public Works and Property Vacation Committee

The October 24, 1994 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation
Committee was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Steve Luecke at 3:50
P.M.in the Council informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members:Luecke, Slavinskas,Zakrzewski,
Coleman, and Ladewski; Citizen Member John Oxian, James Riggs, Don Porter and
Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Luecke noted that the item to be reviewed was Bill No. 93-94
which is a request to vacate West Old Cleveland Road.
Mr. James Riggs made the presentation. He noted that it is no longer needed due to
the construction and dedication of the Nimtz Parkway.
Council Member Luecke noted that the Board of Public Works sent a favorable
recommendation on the proposed vacation as evidence by the October 17, 1994 report
(copy attached).
Following further discussion, Council Member Ladewski made a motion seconded
by Citizen Member John Oxian,that Bill No. 93-94 be recommended favorably to Council.
The motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 4:00 P.M.
