Purpose of Request:
This budget request is for $240,500 from River West Development Area.
On August 9, the Board of Public Works opened bids for a new restroom building at Muessel
Grove Park. One bid was received from Gibson Lewis, a local general contractor, in the amount
of $397,500.
This budget request would augment existing funding from Venues Parks and Arts ($177,400) and
would allow a small 5% construction contingency for any unforeseen circumstances.
