The March 14, 1994 meeting of the Parks and Recreation Committee was called to
order by its Chairperson, Councilmember Cleo Washington, at 6:00 p.m. in the
Council Informal Meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Councilmembers Luecke, Washington, Kelly,
Puzzello, Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, Coleman, Duda, and Ladewski; Phil St. Clair,
Jenny Pitts Manier,Gene Oakley,Don Porter,and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Mr. St. Clair provided a copy of the 1993 annual report for the Parks and
Recreation Committee. He noted that he would highlight portions of the report
under special business at this evening's meeting.
It was also noted that Bill No. 15-94 which addresses the sale of park property will
be continued to the meeting of March 28, 1994.
Councilmember Coleman made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Kelly, that
Bill No. 15-94 be recommended to the full Council as being continued until its
meeting of March 28th. The motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
