• A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOUTH
BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION TO APPROVE AND EXECUTE. A REPEAT
OF LOTS 1B AND 1C OF THE BLACKTHORI~1 OFFICE PARK
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority") has been
created pursuant to Ind. Code § 36-7-14.5 (the "Act") as a separate_body, corporate and politic,
and as an instrumentality of the City of .South Bend, Indiana (the "City") to finance local public
improvements for lease to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") on
behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment; and
WHEREAS, the Authority holds title to certain properties within the Blackthorn Office
Park, including the lots commonly referred to as Lot 1B and Lot 1C of the Blackthorn Office
Park and desires to replat -those .properties. to redistribute a portion of land between. the
properties; and
WHEREAS, to effect the replat, the Authority desires to expressly authorize the Director
of Economic Development for the Commission to execute such administrative documents as
necessary to complete the replat of the Property on the Authority's behalf;
• NOW,. .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ;THE SOUTH BEND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS:
L The Director of Economic Development. of the Commission, Donald E: Inks, or
his successor (the "Director") is hereby authorized to perform, on behalf of the Authority, all
administrative acts related to the replat of the Property described herein, including but not
limited to the execution of documents necessary to complete the replatting process.
2. .This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its adoption:
ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority held on October
10, 2007 at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend; Indiana
46601.
