The November 29, 1993, meeting of the Personnel and Finance
Committee was called to order by Chairperson Council Member Ann
Puzzello at 5 :20 P .M. , in the Council Informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Luecke,
Washington, Kelly, Puzzello, Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, Coleman,
Duda and Ladewski . Also present were Mary Mueller, Don Porter
and Fire Chief Luther Taylor.
The only item to be reviewed was Bill No. 100-93, which involved
an appropriation of $66, 060 . 00 from the Emergency Medical
Services (E.M.S . ) Capital Improvement Fund. Chief Taylor
discussed the need for various capital expenditures for the
E.M. S . program, including expenditures for a new E.M. S . boat, an
air compressor and appropriations for lease-purchase payments for
Engine No. 3 .
Following discussion and questions by Council Members, Council
Member Zakrzewski made a motion, seconded by Council Member
Coleman, that Bill No. 100-93 be recommended favorably to the
Council . The motion passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Personnel and
Finance Committee, the meeting was adjourned.
