Public Safety
The June 1, 1993, Executive Session of the Common Council
and the Board of Safety was called to order by Council
President Steve Luecke at 4: 05 p.m. in the Council Informal
Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Elmer Carr, President of the
Board of Public Safety, Council Members Puzzello, Luecke,
and Ladewski, Fire Chief Luther Taylor, Assistant Chief Rick
Switalski, Thomas Bodnar, Kevin Horton, and Kathleen
Cekanski-Farrand.
It was noted that the Executive Session was called for the
purpose of discussing strategy with regard to Collective
Bargaining and the South Bend Fire Department.
The meeting was adjourned at 5: 35 p.m.
