SUBJECT: Main St. Parking Garage Roof Repair

Three sections of roof on the top of the Main St. Parking have failed due to age and a storm. The
repair is estimated to be below $50,000 to complete. Per the City procurement process, and in
compliance with I.C. 36-1-12-5(b)(1)(B), on June 28th the buyer for the Parking Garages, Marika
Anderson, sent out quote requests to 3 local companies known to do this type of work. We
received no responses. Venues Parks & Arts would like to request permission from the Board to
go on the open market for this public work to be completed.
The Department of Venues Parks & Arts has appropriated sufficient funds from PR-00017784 –
