Viking Painting LLC $1,193,800.00 $12,500.00 $162,800.00 $26,800.00 $1,395,900.00 Upon review of the bid package, I recommend rejecting the bid as non-responsive due to it not meeting MWBE goals or good faith effort. In addition to the lack of good faith effort, there were missing training certificates, evidence of an approved surety according to the Bureau of Fiscal Service “Department of Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties,” and accompanying attachments for statements as required by the Responsible Bidder Ordinance. Due to rejecting the one bid received, I recommend rejection and negotiating in the open market for an agreement in accordance with IC 36-1-12-5. Please call with your questions (5998). Enc.
