At its May 24, 2022 meeting, the Board of Public Works approved the above
referenced proposal for sewer line work in the amount of $20,000 with a change order
increasing the amount $21,606.25 for a new total amount of $41,606.25.

Dear Board Members,
On behalf of the Utilities Division, I would like to submit clarification for EPO # 15890
and Change Order for said PO.
An EPO was requested in April in the amount of $20,000 for National Power Rodding
due to a major collapse at CSO 027/028 as well as a suspected cave in at the outfall for
CSO 35.
We reached out to NPR as they have the equipment and personnel to clean & inspect
large diameter sewers and were able to be on-site quickly. No other vendor was
consulted.
The Change Order is needed because the final invoice exceeded the initial amount
requested of $20,000.
