Persons in attendance included Council Members: Niezgodski, Coleman, Puzzello, Luecke, Slavinskas, and Voorde; Bob Sante, Don Porter, Richard Nussbaum, and Kathleen Cekanski- Farrand. Council Member Slavinskas noted that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill #56-90 which would supplement Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code by incorporating positions relative to Flood Plane Regulations. Mr. Robert Sante, the Assistant Director of Area Plan, then reviewed Substitute Bill #56-90. He noted that the Substitute Bill is consistent with the new Federal Regulations addressing the National Flood Insurance Program. He further noted that the Bill had a Public Hearing before the Area Plan Commission on July 17, 1990 and was recommended favorably as amended to the Common Council. Following further discussion by the Committee, Council Member Coleman made a motion seconded by Council Member Luecke that Substitute Bill #56-90 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. Council Member Slavinskas then read a letter from Cole Associates, Inc. dated August 22, 1990. The letter recommended that Bill #65-90 which would vacate the first North-South alley West of Main Street be struck from the agenda in light of the Petitioners to withdraw it. The letter also requested that Bill #66-90 which would vacate the first East-West alley South of Western Avenue be tabled indefinitely. Council Member Slavinskas stated that the appropriate motions would be made in light of this letter from the Petitioner on both Bills. There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 4:15PM. Respectfully submitted, Council Member Lee Slavinskas, Chairperson Zoning & Vacationing Committee
