Due to an accelerated timeline for federal-assistance contract awards from the Michiana Areas
Council of Governments (MACOG), the purpose of this special meeting of the Board of Public
Works is to award contracts for three INDOT LPA projects.
1. AGREEMENTS/CONTRACTS/PROPOSALS/ADDENDA
A. Contract – Indiana Department of Transportation – Local Public Agency
1. Description: Bendix Drive Improvements (Lathrop to Voorde), DES#2100022
2. Amount: Up to $624,000 of Federal Funds to be Reimbursed - INDOT/LPA
Agreement to Provide 80% of the Eligible Project Cost for the Bendix Ph 2
PE Phase of the Project
B. Contract - Indiana Department of Transportation – Local Public Agency
1. Description: Safe Routes to School Muessel Primary and Holy Cross School,
DES#1900447
2. Amount: Up to $152,000 Paid by INDOT ($190,000 Projected Total for PE
Phase) 80/20 Federal Cost Share (80% Federal / 20% City)
C. Contract - Indiana Department of Transportation – Local Public Agency
1. Description: Safe Routes to School Our Lady of Hungary Neighborhood,
DES#2100025
2. Amount: Up to $96,000 Paid by INDOT ($120,000 Projected Total for PE
Phase) 80/20 Federal Cost Share (80% Federal / 20% City)
D. Professional Services Agreement – DLZ Indiana
1. Description: Bendix Drive Improvements (Lathrop to Voorde) – Project No.
121-047
2. Amount: $777,110
3. Funding: PR-00016028
E. Professional Services Agreement – American Structurepoint, Inc.
1. Description: Design of Repair Services for East Bank Trail Over Leeper
Avenue Bridge Collision
1. Amount: NTE $134,000 (Hourly, Per Phase)
2. Funding: PR-00015978
