Remarks:Establish permanent Ride Share Zones designated for pickups and drop offs. This is to give Ride Share drivers
and passengers safe places for pickups and drop offs in the highest demand areas. This is in response to safety
concerns related to Ride Share drivers stopping in the middle of the street for pickups and drop offs . Several
locations were piloted 90 days, and it was found that most of the locations were used, based on heat maps
provided by Lyft and Uber. The location piloted on Jefferson was not used, so this location will be rem oved. Any
requests for additional locations will be piloted to determine their success and a recommendation will be made
based on the result of the pilot.
