The March 13, 1989 meeting of the Zoning and Vacation
Committee was called to order by its Chair Person Council
Member Lee Slavinskas at 4:45 p.m. in the Council informal
meeting room. -
Persons in attendance- included Council members: Coleman,
Voorde, Slavinskas, Niezgodski, Zakrzewski, Luecke,
Soderberg, Duda, and Puzzello; members of the news media,
and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Slavinskas noted that the item on the agenda
for discussion was Bill No. 8-89 which is a voluntary
annexation to bring within the City limits certain land
located in Clay. Township.
Council Member Puzzello noted that she is unaware of any
formal remonstrance to the petition.
In light of the fact that the petitioner was not present,
Council Member Soderberg made a motion seconded by Council
Member Coleman that Bill No. 8-89 be recommended to be
. continued at the regular Council meeting. Council Member
Slavinskas also noted that a fiscal plan had not been
recommended as of this date by the Board of Public Works.

Following further discussion the Committee passed the
motion. There being no further business to come before the
Committee the meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m.
