The structure would be a two-story structure. It was noted that the Area Plan Commission gave a favorable recommendation and there were no remonstrators at that meeting. It was further noted that a small house was located on one of the parcels and in light of the cost being prohibitive to move the structure the house would be torn down. Council Member Bill Soderberg, the district Council Member, voiced favorable support of the proposed rezoning. Following further comments, Council Member Soderberg seconded by Council Member Coleman that Bill No. 125-88 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. Council Member Slavinskas noted that Bill No. 140-87 which is a revision of Chapter 21 would have second and third readings on the Bill at the Council meeting of February 27th.
