The November 23, 1987 meeting of the Personnel and Finance
Committee was called to order by its Vice-Chairman,
Councilman James Barcome, at 4:45pm in the Council's
informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Councilmen and Councilwomen:
Serge, Puzzello, Zakrzewski, Taylor, Barcome, Paszek, and
Voorde; Loretta Duda, Dick Maginot, Jim Wensits and Kathleen
Cekanski-Farrand. -
Councilman Barcome noted that the purpose of the meeting was
to review two bills, namely, bill no. 117-87 which would
transfer monies from various accounts within various
accounts of the city of South Bend for calendar year 1987
and bill no. 118-87 which was also a transfer ordinance.
In light of the fact that no one from the city
administration was in attendance for the meeting, Councilman
Serge made a motion seconded by Councilman Taylor that bill
no. 117-87 be sent to the full Council without
recommendation. The motion passed.
Councilman Serge then made a motion seconded by Councilman
Taylor that bill no. 118-87 be sent to the full Council
without recommendation. The motion passed.
No further business came before the Committee. The meeting
was adjourned at 4:50pm.
