PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE
UJn the Mammon Count-11 of the 04ttg of Dont!, Mend:
The August 10, 1987 meeting of the Personnel and Finance
Committee was called to order by its Chairman, Councilman
Beverlie J. Beck, at 4 : 15 p.m. in the Council informal meeting
room.
Persons in attendance included: Councilmen Braboy, Serge,
Puzzello, Paszek, Barcome, Beck and Zakrzewski; Michael Vance ,
Rick Morgan and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Councilman Beck noted that the purpose of the meeting was to
review Bill No. 72-87 which would appropriate monies within the
EMS Capital Improvement Fund .
Mr. Michael Vance noted that the bill would appropriate
$22 ,000 for new roofing at Fire Station #2 located at 110 East
Marion Street. He further noted that the building is twenty (20) •
years old and still has the original roof. Because of many water
leaks, they wish to resolve the problem before major damage is
done.
Following discussion by the Committee, Councilman Barcome
made a motion, seconded by Councilman Paszek, that Bill No. 72-87
be recommended favorably to Council . The motion passed .
There being no further business to come before the
Committee , the meeting was adjourned at 4 :20 p.m.
