Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski called to order the Personnel & Finance Committee
meeting at 5:00 p.m.

Bill No. 06-22
Dan Parker, City Controller, with offices on the twelfth (121h) floor of the County-City Building,
presented Bill No. 06-22.
Committeemember Eli Wax asked if there are goals for new grant funds due to the grant
specialist position.
Dan Parker responded that a specific amount had not been determined, but it will be helpful to
have a coordinated position to research new grant opportunities.
Committeemember Eli Wax requested that those metrics be tracked to determine whether the
city's position is a good investment. He asked if CFS factors in benefits.
Dan Parker responded that these amounts are base wages and do not include bonuses or benefits.
Councilmember Lori K. Hamann requested confirmation that all positions, including the two (2)
new positions, are budgeted out of the general fund.

Dan Parker responded that they are not all budgeted from the general fund. However, they are all
budgeted out of the 2022 budget.
Committeemember Troy Warner made a motion to send Bill No. 06-22 to the Committee of the
Whole with a favorable recommendation. Committeemember Rachel Tomas Morgan seconded
the motion, which carried by a voice vote of four(4) ayes.
With no further business, Chair Sheila Niezgodski adjourned the Personnel & Finance meeting at
3:48 p.m.
