January Bid/Quote Openings with MWBE Goals:
1. Sibley Center Exterior Renovation – No bids on 1.11.2022
a. Path forward: Open Market contract to be awarded at 2/8 BPW Meeting
b. Contract Goals:
i. MBE: 3.4% [met via 1st Class Logistics]
ii. WBE: 4.5% [met via JMH Roofing]
c. Contract amount: $218,000
2. Coveleski Stadium Field Lighting Installation – No bids on 1.11.2022
a. Awarded as Open Market Contract on 1.25.2022
b. Contract Goals:
i. MBE: 1.2% [met via Kennedy Expressline]
ii. WBE: 4.3% [met via CoreBore and V&R Trucking]
c. Contract Amount: $298,000
3. 2021 Community Crossings Paving Round 11 – Received two (2) bids on 1.25.2022
a. Path forward: Plan to award based on identifying additional funding as both bids are
over the available budget.
b. Contract Goals:
i. MBE: 4.19% [met via 1st Class Logistics]
ii. WBE: 6.04% [met via Montgomery Trucking 2.01%, Traffic Control Specialists
2.65%, State Barricading 1.38%]
c. Project Estimate: $1,055,935.25
