Home My WebLink About08-18-86 Personnel & Finance PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE The August 18, 1986 meeting of the committee was called to order by its chairman Councilman Ann Puzzello at 4:10 p.m. , in the Council meeting room. Michael Vance, City Controller, indicated they had cut $21,152 from the budget. Council Member Beck made a motion to accept the cuts previously made in the budget, Bill No. 86-86, plus the $21,152, and recommend it to the Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Braboy. The motion carried. Council Member Beck indicated she felt some of the police overtime budget should be transferred into another account. A discussion was held regarding problems with the police salaries. Council Member Serge made a motion that Bill No. 87-86 be recommended favorable to the Council, seconded by Council Member Puzzello. The motion carried. Council Member Beck made a motion to recommend Bill No. 88-86, to the Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Serge. The motion carried. Council Member Braboy made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Serge. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 4: 32 p.m.
