The August 5, 1985 meeting of the Zoning and Vacation. Committee
was called to order by its Chairman, Councilman John Voorde at 4: 35
p.m. in the Council informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included, Councilmen Beck, Zakrzewski, Braboy,
Voorde, Serge, Paszek, Puzzello, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Councilman Voorde noted that the meeting was called to review
Bill No. 61-85 which was a zoning request for the property located at
727 Corby Blvd. to rezone it from .A"Residential to "B" Residential to
allow a three duplex apartment building to be built.
It was noted that the petitioner was not present. Councilman
Puzzello voiced her opposition to the proposed rezoning and noted the
security problems in the area. Councilman Voorde and Coucilman Serge
noted that the. Area Plan. Commission recommended the bill unfavorably.
Since the Petitioner was not in attendance, no formal action was
taken by the Committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 4: 40 p.m.
