The Executive session of the Common Council met with the
negotiation team of the South Bend Fire Department at 5 :15 p.m. March 27, 1984
in the Council informal meeting room.
Persons in attendance included: Councilmen Braboy, Serge, Taylor,
Paszek, Zakrzewski, Puzzello, Voorde, Crone and Beck, David Keckley, Attorney
for the Firefighters Association, Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, and the following
members of the Fire Department: Dale P. Soos, Douglas Parmley, Mike Bella,
Stephen Sheets, Steve Wieger, Clarence J. Kaminski, and City Controller
Michael Vance.
The purpose of the meeting was to receive the firefighters wage
proposal for 1985.
The meeting was adjourned at 6 : 00 p.m.
