Serving in his third term as South Bends 2nd District Councilman- Council Member Henry
Davis Jr., announces his run for South Bend Common Council President.
"I am excited about the opportunity to work on many organizational items for the council and
city. Our city government should not only inspire its residents but empower them. We have to
create an atmosphere of selfless service." stated Davis.
The council presidency will be voted on Monday, January 3rd, at the council's yearly
organizational meeting. The organizational meeting will be held virtually. However, the
public is invited to attend. COVID protocols will be enforced. The South Bend Common
Council meets on the 4th floor of the Saint Joseph County City-Building, at 227 West
Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN, 46601.
