Miller to move a building on the Asphalt Pavement on W. Washington street under certain conditions. Petition filed fair Pipe Sewer on Sherman avenue from Van Buren street to Portage avenue. Referred to the Engineer for Specifications. Petition filed for an electric light at the corner of Birdsell street & Liston street. Referred to the Street Cor_missioner for investigation. Bond of James Nelson filed and approved and contract signed for the W. Tutt street Brick Pavement. Improvement Resolution No.,.,,Zfor Asphalt Pavement on S. Lafayette street from Sample street to Broadway street was rescinded. P resident. 461 Saturday June 2nd, 190C. _ The Board met in regular session at 10 A. ,. All members present. Bond of C. H. Defrees filed and approved and contract signed for the Columbia street Brick Pavement. Bond of H. DeVos & Co filed.and approved and contract signed for,the.Cedar street Pipe Sever. President. 462 The Board met in regular session at 10 A. Id. All members present. _ Bond of C. Coussens &.Co filed and approved and contract signed. for the Chestnut street Pipe Sewer. Bids were opened and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for the following improvements;- Marietta & Bronson street Brick Pavement; Parry street Curb & Walk and Columbia street, Marietta & Bronson street, W. Tutt street and S. Lafayette street Sewer and Water connections. Remonstrance against the Crescent avenue Pipe Sewer was over -ruled by the following vote Nicar and Papczynski Aye McInerny Naye. The Engineer was instructed to proceed with the preparation of plans etc. A 50 C. P. lamp was ordered installed on Jaquith Court midway between Prairie avenue and Chapin street. South Bend & Mishawaka Gas Company were notified to relay the pavement,which they misplaced, on N. Michigan street; North Shore Drive and at the intersection of Monroe and Fellows streets. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 360. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an Improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: A Brick (bjock)­_pavement on South Lafayette street from Sample street to Broadway street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE SOUTH LAFAYETTE STREET BRICK PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 6th day of June and on the 13th day of June, 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hail on the 26th day of June, 1906, at 7:15 P. M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required as according to law. Which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of five per cent per annum payable as provided by law. Adopted this 5th day of June 1906. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. 468 Tuesday June 5th, 1906. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: A Brick (block) pavement on Cushing street from Michigan avenue to LaSalle avenue. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE CUSHING STREET BRICK PAVEMENT IMP9OVEMEN'T" and shall be constructed according:to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 6th day of June and on the 13th day of June 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times. We hereby offer to sell and by proper deed convey to the City of South Bend. all of �.. our real estate in said City bounded as follows: On the east by Lafayette street; on the south by the north line of Foote street extended west; on the west by Mary E.
