Whereas, the Board did on the 20th day ofFebruary 1906, pass certain resolutions
for the improvement of streets in this City, to -wit: -

And Whereas It has come to the attention of this Board that an uncertainty
has arisen with reference to the issueing of bonds under said resolutions,
Therefore it is ordered by the Board that all of said resolutions should be

Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That
an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows:

improvement shall be known and designated as "THE MAIN STREET ASPHALT PAVEMENT IMF-
ROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according; to the plans and specifications prepared

Resolutions were received from the Council asking for sidewalks on Sample street from

Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 22, appropriating -the following
described property for alley purposes:
A Strip Nine feet nine tenths (9.9) wide off the north end of lots 41, 42, 43
and F in Rockafellers 2nd addition.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
The Board therefore find that the above described property should be and the same
is hereby in all things condemned and appropriated for a public alley.

OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA.
The undersigned Appraisers to whom was referred the above entitled matter, do
hereby report that the assessment complained of by the Plaintiff in said cause
does not exceed the special benefits to said property, and the assessment made by
the Board of Public Works, to —wit: Two hundred forty—nine Dollard and three cents
($249.03) upon the 26th day of January, 1906 is hereby in all things confirmed and
approved by us.
