and the Personnel and Finance Committee
The June 28,2004 joint meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee and the
Personnel and Finance Committee was called to order by Public Works and Property Vacation
Committee Chairperson,Dr. David Varner at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Pfeifer,Puzzello,Kelly,Dieter, White,Kuspa,
and Varner; Community&Economic Development Executive Director Sharon Kendall,City
Clerk John Voorde, City Engineer and Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Dr.Varner noted that at the last regular meeting of the South Bend Common Council a motion
was made to continue Bill No. 32-04 to today. He noted that the committees have been meeting
on the propose Bill and that the next joint committee meeting will be held on July 7th at 4 p.m.
He recommended that the Bill this evening be continued until the Common Council meeting of
July 26th for public hearing.
There being no further business to come before the joint committee meeting,Dr. Varner
adjourned the meeting at 3:02 p.m.
