BLM, LaSalle Area Alliance Neighborhood Association, and Councilman Henry Davis, Jr.
will host a joint press conference on neighborhood development and equity.
TODAY at 11 A.M., Black Lives Matter South Bend, Councilman Henry Davis, Jr., LaSalle Area
Alliance, and residents of the 2nd district will hold a joint press conference at the County-City
Building. We are calling on the South Bend Common Council to delay the vote on the budget until
the end of October. Many neighborhood organizations are unclear about how the proposed budget
will help their neighborhoods. There is no plan for low-income housing development despite a
drastic increase in evictions over the last year and a half.
The public is invited to attend.
