South Bend third (3rd) term 2nd District Councilman Henry Davis, Jr., announces the first (1st) town hall
meeting in his district. The first (1st) meeting will be held at WUBS Radio station on Lincoln Way West, and
the public is strongly encouraged to attend. There will be a panel discussion and moderator. There will also
be a Q&A session to follow the first (1st) hour of the meeting. The meeting comes due to the passage of
Resolution 4925-21, which passed in late August.
“The community west of the river, which is the biggest part of the City, deserves much-needed attention. The
disparities that exist West of the river don’t need to be ignored any longer. We must address these systemic
issues now because the life of the City depends on it,” said Davis, Jr.
The meeting is scheduled for next week, Tuesday, September 28th. The public is invited to participate
physically or virtually, and COVID protocols will be in place for this event.
