found in Chapter 21 (Zoning), South Bend Municipal Code and Chapter
26 of the St. Joseph County Code.
The issuance of this certificate does NOT in any manner, release
the recipient from the responsibility of complying with the requirements
of the zoning ordinances, building codes, safety codes, ADA or other
requirements of the City of South Bend, the County of St. Joseph, the
State of Indiana, or the United States Federal Government.
This certificate is good for one year from the date of issuance and
is effective from the date entered herein. Plans are on file and open for
public inspection at the office of the Historic Preservation Commission of

C & S Masonry Restoration, LLC. appreciates the opportunity to provide a quote for the above referenced
project. The following information represents our scope of work and pricing.
INCLUDED 1N SCC►PE of WORK.
1. Chemical clean the masonry on the church to remove atmospheric stains and surface dirt.
2. Grind out and repoint failed mortar joints as necessary.
3. Remove the awning above the south facing door. Take down the leaning gable. Refurbish or replace the
rusting steel lintel. Rebuild the gable back to a plumb condition.
4. Remove and rebuild the shifted south facing parapet above the window.
5. Remove and replace (3) severely rusting lintels above the south facing windows and door.
6. Cut out and replace (10) spalled brick.
7. Cut out, install backer rod and seal the limestone head joints and window and door surrounds using a
premium 20 year silicone sealant.
8. Repair and patch (8) spalled or damaged sections of limestone using Jahn Repair Mortar.
9. Remove and replace the upper damaged flue liner in the chimney.
10. Apply (1) application of Siloxane PD water repellant to the masonry.
11. Clean the exterior windows after the water repellant application.
12. Provide plywood for lawn protection with the boom lifts.

ALTERATE #1 WEST WALL;
1. Chemical clean the west wall and sign as discussed.
2. Grind out and repoint failed mortar joints as necessary.
3. Cut out, install backer rod and seal coping stone joints.
4. Remove and replace (10) spalling brick in the sign.
5. Remove and replace (2) severely rusting lintels above the upper windows on the west wall.
6. Apply (1) application of Siloxane PD water repellant to the west wall and sign.

ALTERNATE #2 NORTH WALL:
I. Due to power lines and fencing, we will build scaffold to access the north wall.
2. Chemical clean the north wall.
3. Grind out and repoint failed mortar joints as necessary.
4. Remove and replace (2) severely rusting lintels above the upper windows.
5. Rebuild the shifted brick work created by the rusting lintels.
6. Cut out, install backer rod and seal the coping cap head joints.
7. Apply (1) application of Siloxane PD water repellant to the masonry.

EXCLUSIONS:
1. The fence will need to be removed to provide access to the masonry on the west elevation.
2. Contacting your local electric provider to cover and protect the power lines on the west and north
elevations.
