SUBJECT: 2114 Taylor Street Handicap Parking
DATE: August 31, 2021
On April 13, 2021, the Board of Public Works denied the residential handicap parking request at
2114 Taylor Street due to the residence having a garage off the alley with a parking pad.
On August 30, 2021, the resident requested to appeal the denied handicap application. The
resident informed City officials their medical condition requires them to be transported to the
hospital often. Additionally, their street has a high vehicle count which is limiting street parking.
The City’s ADA coordinator reviewed the dispute claim and recommends approving the
handicap parking application at the residence.
