The May 28, 2003, executive session of the South Bend Common Council was called to order by
its Council President Karen L. White at 4:08 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Kuspa, Kelly and White, Mayor Stephen J.
Luecke, Public Works Director Gary Gilot, City Attorney Charles Leone, Assistant City Attorney
Aladean DeRose, Director of the Division of Environmental Services John J. Dillon, and Council
Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council President White noted that the Executive Session was called to discuss pending litigation.
Council President Karen L. White, hereby certifies that the only items discussed at the May 28,
2003 Executive Session called pursuant to Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(2)(B), were the
discussion of pending litigation as set forth in the notice of May 23. 2003 (copy attached).
Council President White adjourned the Executive Session at 4:45 p.m.
